Biography
Dr Morady did his Cardiology training at the University of California in San Francisco and was an Assistant Professor of Medicine there from 1980-1984. He was Director of the Clinical Electrophysiology Service at the University of Michigan from 1984 to 2006, and has been a Professor of Medicine since 1987.
Dr Morady is now the McKay Professor of Cardiovascular Disease at the University of Michigan. He has authored more than 550 peer-reviewed publications and is on the editorial boards of several leading medical journals, including Circulation and the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.
Dr Morady is a member of the American Society of Clinical Investigation and has received several awards, including the Michel Mirowski Award for excellence in clinical research in the field of Clinical Electrophysiology in 2002, and the Heart Rhythm Society (NASPE) Distinguished Teacher Award in 2004.
